A few years ago information on preparation of devices on the special version of the Ubuntu operating system actively discuss in networks. It was declared about creation of the tablet and smartphone with the unique user interface. And if some smartphones nevertheless got on the market, the tablet not became closer to public. Fortunately, this can change after the future MWC 2016 exhibition which will take place at the end of February in Barcelona. By hearsay, engineers and designers of Canonical at last could create something suitable for the mass market.
It is claimed that the Spanish company BQ, with which Canonical already had good relations, will be engaged in production. BQ released two Ubuntu devises: Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition. BQ Ubuntu Tablet or Aquaris X10 will get the 64-bit MT8163 quad-core processor, 10-inch Full HD screen, 2 GB of RAM and 7280 mAh battery. Recently Canonical worked on support X11 in mobile version of OS. That will allow to run any graphic software from Ubuntu repository. Besides, it is already known that the next version of Ubuntu Touch will be constructed on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS OS which will be released on April 21.
